Players find themselves in the role of a well respected hostage negotiator, who is still recovering from previous trauma.
Players will be contacted by an old acquaintance, and asked to negotiate the release of ten hostages being held by a group of criminals at a local bank.
Inspired by Choose Your Own Adventures games, Situation Line puts players as a hostage negotiator and must carefully decide what decisions and statements to make to negotiate the release of the hostages.
Situation Line also has you interact with a wide cast of characters including: hostage takers, hostages, employees, and SWAT leads.

All of your decisions you make when dealing with each person can result in different experiences with each playthrough.
You won't meet all characters on the same play through.
The game also features 6 unique endings, ranging from freeing the hostages to letting the criminals escape with the money from the bank.
